I have recently completed the academic coursework for my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, and am now accepting clients for my clinical training.
Born and raised in northern Alberta, I understand the unique challenges of accessing quality mental health resources, as well as the fear and stigma that can sometimes come with seeking support. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, supported, and respected. Drawing from my previous career in emergency nursing, I bring a deep appreciation for holistic care and the powerful connection between mind and body. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside you as you navigate challenges, uncover your strengths, and move toward a greater sense of peace and self-growth. We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing on what matters most in your life.
In my spare time, I enjoy connecting with family and friends, and staying active with my busy toddler. I love spending time in the great outdoors, golfing, slow pitch, and watching hockey.
I am currently accepting new clients and would be honoured to walk with you on your journey toward healing and growth.

Choosing to see a counsellor can be a difficult decision, and booking that first appointment can take courage. You may be feeling scared, nervous, indifferent, happy or relieved. All of these are normal and perfectly OK. Whatever you may be feeling, I encourage you to take this opportunity to enrich your life through counselling. We will work collaboratively from wherever you are at, as you to direct your journey towards growth and discovery in a supporting and safe space.
I use an interdisciplinary approach with a base in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Gottman Couples Method, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). What all of those acronyms and titles simply mean, is that we will have a tool box to pull from in order to work in a manner that best suits your needs and enhances your strengths in the moment.
I believe that people are resilient and capable of choosing positive changes that will enrich their lives. Counselling can be one of those choices. and I look forward to the opportunity to facilitate further changes with you.
